Videonetics announces technological integration with VIVOTEK

INDIA: December 17, 2021: Videonetics, the first unified video computing platform (UVCP â„¢) powered by AI and DL announces the integration of its Intelligent VMS 3.0 with VIVOTEK, NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) on-board analysis IP camera series.

Technology integration allows operators to easily configure and modify VIVOTEK camera streaming, imaging and other settings using the Intelligent VMS 3.0 user interface, and enable Edge Analytics applications running at inside the cameras within the same unified interface. At the time of any alert triggered by the Edge Analytics applications, the information is immediately transferred from the VIVOTEK cameras to the IVMS application. Operators can immediately monitor and assess the severity of the incident by investigating specific and associated cameras on the dynamic IVMS map and ensure that each incident is handled according to the organization’s standard operating procedures (SOPs). The SOP includes the display of a video matrix displaying views of all the cameras in the geographic fence and the distribution of the information over various communication channels integrated into the IVMS application. This simplifies the coordination of the response between the stakeholders and speeds up the resolution of incidents.

The distributed computing architecture involving Edge Analytics and IVMS provides unlimited scalability in deploying video analytics applications to thousands of cameras in a single installation.

How does the integration of Intelligent VMS and VIVOTEK Edge Analytics IP cameras work?

Intelligent VMS 3.0 uses the Application Programming Interface (API) exposed by VIVOTEK cameras to enable Edge Analytics applications. Edge Analytics apps send event notifications to the IVMS app in real time via a streaming protocol. The Intelligent IVMS event handling mechanism automatically executes the SOP associated with the event.

Videonetics is focused on developing strategic relationships and building a strong ecosystem, thereby making our technology accessible to our partners and customers. With this technological integration, I am confident that our intelligent VMS coupled with VIVOTEK Edge Analytics IP cameras will help our customers to provide highly efficient solutions for various industries. declared, Avinash J Trivedi, Vice President – Business Development, Videonetics.

VIVOTEK aspires to become the eye of the IOT by leveraging its vast technological capabilities in image and audio. As part of the same advanced VMS Videonetics and our Edge Analytics offerings help solve customer monitoring issues. When we say “We Get The Picture” it means understanding the big picture quickly and always being one step ahead in delivering the solutions our end users demand. “ noted Alex Kuo, APAC Department Head.
