Netwatch North America Announces Technology Integration with Hanwha Techwin

Lake Forest, Calif. (July 6, 2022) – Netwatch North America, the leader in proactive video surveillance solutions, announced a strategic technology integration with Hanwha Techwin America, a global provider of video surveillance solutions. Netwatch proactive video monitoring is now fully integrated with Hanwha’s Wisenet WAVE VMS version 4.2. It is also compatible with Hanwha’s line of Wisenet X and P series cameras, allowing customers to add proactive video surveillance to their suite of security solutions.

The market for proactive security solutions is growing as more and more organizations seek to implement a proactive approach to risk management. According to Mordor Intelligence, the proactive security market is expected to reach $45.67 million by 2026, primarily driven by the growing number of enterprises opting for proactive security solutions over reactive technologies.

When combined, Hanwha’s video surveillance solutions and Netwatch’s proactive video monitoring enable end users to identify intrusion incidents and provide live audio intervention to prevent crime in real time. Additionally, common clients can detect loitering and issue live audio warnings to defuse incidents before loss or damage occurs.

“The integration between Netwatch and Hanwha Techwin enables enterprises to trigger more effective incident and threat response and take faster and more effective action,” said Justin Wilmas, president of Netwatch North America. “Netwatch’s proactive video monitoring is a major added value for the market, and this recent integration with Hanwha is the latest example of our company’s continued pursuit of security-driven innovation for our customers.”

Traditional video surveillance services have long been the standard for after-hours security at most facilities and campuses. However, this service limits the ability to prevent crime. Proactive video monitoring allows operators to take action before an incident occurs.

The Netwatch platform connects to a company’s CCTV system and can detect unauthorized activity through computer vision software analysis. Once an alert is received, Netwatch response specialists assess the situation over a live video feed, determining the level of threat. The operator speaks directly to the intruder with a live audio warning advising them to leave the premises immediately. In 98% of cases, the live warning prevents the criminal from pursuing.
