the medieval dynasty The Windmill update has arrived, adding a new building, decoration system to the game, 30 new places of interest, and more.
medieval dynasty is (as the name suggests) a game about creating your own dynasty in medieval times. Players flee a war-torn region to meet a family friend in an unfamiliar town and ultimately learn how to build a life, start a family, and start a town with NPCs.
Since its launch late last year, developers have focused on adding content such as a third-person perspective, the first part of its post-launch roadmap. This was followed by a rather silly teaser for the Windmill update. Now the medieval dynasty Windmill Update is finally here, and it also has a silly promo video to go along with the new game content.
What’s new in the medieval dynasty Mill update?
First and foremost, the medieval dynasty Windmill Update adds the titular building to the game. The Windmill building is the top level building in the farm building tree; it takes 10,000 tech to unlock it. Once unlocked, you can build it for 6 logs and 10 planks. This new building allows you to craft Flour more efficiently than Querns in the Barn.
The new decoration system is also coming in this update. Once a house is built, you can select walls with the hammer equipped and choose from a number of decorations, including light sources like candles. The decoration system does not work with all buildings, be careful. You’ll also need to have enough tech for each decoration and pay to unlock the recipe like with most other crafting items.
The last notable addition in this update is over 30 new places of interest that can be spawned on the map, bringing a bit more life to the wilderness.
