Cypress Creek EMS for transporting blood analysis system

Cypress Creek EMS has partnered with Siemens Healthineers to perform point-of-care blood testing.

According to a CCEMS press release, quality lab tests will scan patient IDs, analyze a small blood sample, and then provide real-time results to paramedics on the move to make immediate decisions if needed.

“This technology is a game changer,” said Wren Nealy Jr., CEO of CCEMS. “Instead of wasting hours transporting the patient to the hospital for lab tests, we can diagnose and treat the patient instantly, saving lives when seconds count.”

The epoc blood analysis system will also be able to help hospital doctors prepare for procedures even earlier.

“The benefits of having this technology at your fingertips are endless,” said Nealy Jr. “The application of this system can be used for critical care transportation and the acute conditions encountered by endurance athletes during ‘events like the Ironman that we used last weekend. “
